The Indus Story
Since 2011, Indus Early Learning Centre – Whitefield has been nurturing young learners with one enduring belief — childhood matters, curiosity matters, and the foundations we build in the early years shape the future.
Established by the Indus Trust, IELC Whitefield was envisioned as a place where children feel secure, inspired and empowered to explore. Through purposeful play, inquiry, meaningful relationships and real-world experiences, children learn to question, discover, create and grow with confidence.
Over the past 15 years, we have grown and evolved alongside our children, families and the changing world of education. Our learning environments, curriculum and practices continue to evolve, while one thing remains constant — the child is at the heart of everything we do.
Today, our journey continues with the same purpose: building strong foundations, nurturing future-ready learners, and empowering children not just to prepare for the future, but to create it.

Our Programs
Pre-Nursery
15 months – 2 years
Designed to nurture young children while providing physical, emotional, and intellectual stimulus to optimise potential. Caters to students from ages 1.2 to 2 years.
Nursery
2 years – 3 years
An environment designed for stimulating experiences where a strong pastoral philosophy ensures each child feels safe and secure. A strong foundation of whole development is laid.
Reception
3 years – 4 years
A transdisciplinary curriculum focusing on the whole growth of the developing child, touching hearts as well as minds, encompassing social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs.
Prep-1
4 years – 5 years
A secure and enriched environment where students become lifelong learners. With a strong focus on conceptual learning and development of leadership skills, children engage in a transdisciplinary curriculum.
Prep-2
5 years – 6 years
A warm and inspiring environment filled with learning materials. We follow the child and help them attain their potential, creating a strong community where developmental needs are met.
Grade-1
6 years – 7 years
A thoughtfully considered and aesthetically beautiful, engaging, and challenging environment to stimulate learning for ages 6 to 7. Inspired by play-based and inquiry-based frameworks.
