While most students join school at the beginning of each academic year, we understand that some may not be able to do so. Based on the availability of seats, we are happy to admit students throughout the year.

We admit children aged 1 to 7 years old that is from Pre Nursery to Grade 1.
We encourage children to indulge in and appreciate different forms of creative expressions like art, music, dance and role play. We also have swimming classes twice a week, Physical Education classes, Yoga session, Chess classes, Second Language classes, Library sessions etc.
We donot conduct any tests or exams. However we have a contionous assessment system which is an ongoing prcoess . At Indus we believe assessment should be integrated into all aspects of the learning cycle. Assessment should be continuous and fair so as to provide information about student performance in areas of both strengths and challenges. It also focuses on what students know, understand, their abilities and feelings at different stages of the learning cycle; the aim of assessment being to maximize the potential of each student. At Indus we believe that assessment is both for assessing skills for learning as well as of learning. It is a positive and supportive mechanism that enhances student learning, teacher methodologies and parent support in the overall development of student achievement.
Our school is located at ECC Road, Dodsworth Layout, Whitefield.
We have 3 PTM's in a year and is informed to the Parents in the beginning of the academic year.
We have events evey month which includes Phonics workshop, Storytelling session, Sports day, Indus Day, Christmas Carnival, Aquatic Meet, Pool Party, Family Day, Mother's Day etc.
We provide an IB curriculam which is an International Curriculum which is engaging, challenging, and relevant to children with play as the main strategy for early learning. We focus on the development of the child as an inquirer, both within and beyond the classroom. We focus not just in academics but in holistic development of the child by incorpoating extra curricular activities like Swimming, Music, Physical Education and Dance, Yoga, Chess etc
The safety and security of our students are of prime importance to us. The gates are closed from 9 am to 2:30 pm when the children are in school. No males are allowed inside the campus unless accompanied by a lady security guard, no vendors are allowed in between 9 am and 2:30 pm, all the common area is connected to CCTV camera, the students are accompanied by teachers or support staff throughout the day.
All the teachers have completed their post graduate program or graduate degree program in their subject area and also have Teachers Training Certificate.
Our school timings are 9 am – 3 pm with a warm lunch and transport provided.
At IELCW all children are welcomed. There is no entrance test or interview conducted for students.
The First Language is English and the Second language is Spanish or Hindi.We also provide French as Mother tongue support on request.
The homework is sent home once in a week and is optional. It is just the reinforcement of the concept taught in the classes and would take hardly ten minutes for the children to complete it.

Yes, we provide morning snacks consisting of cut fruits, child-friendly warm lunch - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, Indian and continental and also an afternoon snacks.
